ABOUT BANGKOK
Bangkok, officially known in Thai as Krung Thep Maha Nakhon or Krung Thep, is the capital city of Thailand. It is situated in the Chao Phraya River delta in central Thailand. Bangkok is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations.
The best things to do in Bangkok include visiting historical and cultural landmarks, such as the Grand Palace, and major Buddhist temples, including the Temple of The Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), Wat Pho, and Wat Arun. There are several places for shopping and dining, including the Chatuchak Weekend Market, Khao San Road, and Yaowarat (or China Town), known for its stores, street-side food stalls, and restaurants. Another popular activity is taking cruises and boat trips along the Chao Phraya river, which gives you a chance to see some of the city’s traditional architecture and ways of life on the waterfront.
The average temperature in Bangkok in November is dry at 23°C/ 11°F (Min Temp.) ~ 32°C/ 11°F (Max Temp.), which is a great time to visit.
